- 1 head of green cabbage, chopped
- 1 can of corned beef
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoons water
- salt and pepper to taste
This is one of the quickest, easiest recipe’s in my collection. I have been preparing this dish since my children were very small and they will still say it is one of their favorites. Serve this dish with a slice of cornbread and you have yourself a delicious meal.
- Add 1 tablespoon of olive oil to a large cast iron or other skillet, add cabbage and two tablespoons of water.
- Add corned beef that has been cut into pieces; stir.
- Add salt and pepper. Cook over medium heat until cabbage is tender.
