• 1 large onion chopped
  • 1 small bell pepper chopped
  • 1 large can tomatoes
  • 1 small can tomato paste
  • 1/2 cup wine
  • 1-2 cloves crushed garlic
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 pound ground medium hot sausage
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp basil
  • 1 tsp parsley
  • 1 Carton Riccoto cheese
  • 1 package Mozzarella cheese grated
  • 1 package Parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 package Romano cheese

Directions:

  1. Brown chopped onion and bell pepper in olive oil until tender.
  2. Add tomato’s and tomato paste, bring to a boil.
  3. Add wine,  garlic, ground beef, ground sausage.  Cook 5-10 min.
  4. Turn heat to low then add salt, pepper, oregano, basil & parsley.  Cover & simmer for 30 minutes
  5. In the meantime, put  lasagna noodles in a large pot of salted boiling water.  Cook until done;  drain.
  6. Layer in a 13″x9″ pan that has been sprayed with cooking spray,  sauce, noodles, Ricotta  Mozzarella, Parmesan and Romano cheese.
  7. Repeat layers ending with cheeses.
  8. Bake 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
